Well it looks like everyone is either gearing up for the eventing season back at home or already started so let’s get a fitness tip!
If you have a thoroughbred, or any breed of horse really that needs to build muscle in it’s hind end you should find a long medium inclined hill and trot and canter up it a few times a week, increasing the speed and duration with the number of times you do it.
Professionals like Phillip Dutton are well known to use this technique!
So get out, and get that booty working!
