Emily’s Riding Log

Today I had an awesome cross country school at Gibbe’s Farm in St. Mathews. Gibbe’s is an awesome place because you can basically school up to advanced, and there’s plenty of room to gallop in between fences! It’s about an hour 15 minute drive from Aiken, so we set off with six horses and the dogs!
I rode in a group with Kate on her intermediate horse Bucky, and Ryan Wood riding his intermediate horse McLovin. We started out with some log pile combinations, and then a two stride. Sasha jumped them all really well so we headed over to the ditch complex. We did the ditch one stride to a roll top, and then a big log pile one stride to the ditch curving one stride to the roll top.
To top it all off we all headed over to the water complex! I jumped a few logs in, and then some jumps to a bank in. We finished it all off with a roll top with a pretty substancial bank on the other side! Sasha just ate it all up!

Getting a bit of air

And into the water!

And into the water!
